Leslie E. McCollom, 73, of Columbus, Ohio passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2024  after a sudden illness.  He was born August 7, 1950 in Mansfield, Ohio the son of Beulah  (Westmoreland) McCollom and James L. Newhouser.

He was a collector of items and was best known for his smile and constant laughter.

Leslie was predeceased by his mother, Beulah McCollom; nephews, Christopher Thompson and Nathan L. Miller Jr.;  aunts, Corine Barnes and Minnie Anderson, and grandparents, William and Georgia Westmoreland.

He is survived by his brother, Dwight McCollom of Mansfield, Ohio and sister, Jannie (Janine) Miller of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and three nieces, Tameka McCollom of Mansfield, Ohio, Aija Mapp (Lyle) of Springfield, Ohio, and Shayla (Jayson) Lyles of Banning, California.
