Lenora Kathryn (Kate) Jones, 89 went home to be with the Lord Friday, August 7, 2020 at The Ohio State University Medical Center.  She was born January 11, 1931 in Springfield, Ohio the daughter of Lee and Lenora (Foster) Jones.  Kate retired from Springfield City Schools December 1992 after 21 years of service.

She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Todd Lamar Jones; sisters, Martha Louise Jones and Peggy Jean Jones; brother, Robert (Joyce) Jones all of Springfield, Ohio; grandchildren, Galen Wadsworth of Texas, Rashaad Jones of Springfield, Ohio, Stephanie Jones, Akron, Ohio, Christopher (NaCole) Jones, Taylor (Michael) Mitchell of Springfield, Ohio and Jaelee Kathryn Elizabeth and Jasmene Kamae Jones both of Cincinnati, Ohio, 14 great grandchildren and one to be born January 29, 2021.  She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Jennifer Lee Jones; son, Delbert Anthony (Tony) Jones; grandson, Anthony Lamar Jones; sister, Constance Marie Toliver; brothers, William Foster, Rodger, Charles, James, Julius and Phillip Jones.

Visitation is Monday, August 17, 2020 from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 12 p.m. in the funeral home.  Burial will follow in Ferncliff Cemetery.
