Leamon Turner 89, of Springfield went home to be with the Lord on June 11, 2016. He was born August 4, 1926 in Springfield, Ohio the son of Irvin and Oter (Cochran) Turner. Mr. Turner had been employed at Navistar for 40 years. He was a faithful member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. His memory will be cherished by his loving and devoted wife of 65 years, Lenora Lucille (Davis) Turner of Springfield, Ohio; loving sons, Ronald (Dawn) Turner of Springfield, Ohio, Michael (Vickie) Turner of Cincinnati, Ohio; sister, Cora Batey of Columbus, Ohio; grandchildren, Cindy Turner of Cincinnati, Ohio, Michael (Ebonique) Turner II of Columbus, Ohio, Nayta Turner of Fairborn, Ohio, Breonna Turner of Springfield, Ohio and Stacy Jones of Springfield, Ohio; great granddaughters, Makiaya and Laila Turner of Columbus, Ohio and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many special friends. Leamon was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Margurite Peterson.
