Larry Eugene Jordan Jr., otherwise known as Dad, 51, of Springfield, Ohio passed away unexpectedly in Springfield Regional Medical Center on Tuesday, December 17, 2024.  He was born July 1, 1973 in Springfield, Ohio the son of Larry E. and Tresa Y. Jordan.

Larry attended Central State University shortly before leaving to serve in the United States Army.  Larry had been employed by McGregor Metalworking where he was a supervisor.  He enjoyed cracking jokes, playing pranks and fishing.  Larry will forever stand as our grill master.  He will be remembered as a family man and for the unconditional love, loyalty and support that he never hesitated to give.

Larry is survived by his parents, Larry and Tresa Jordan Sr.; children, Ja'Mar, Syriana, Za'Ryiah and Ka'Myiah; brothers, Jason Sr. and Jacob; grandmother, Dorothy Wynn; aunts and uncles; niece and nephews, Dominique, Jason Jr. and Dylan and a plethora of cousins. He is preceded in death by his son, Michael E. Jordan and grandparents, Lester B. Jordan Sr. and Lucielle Jacobs Jordan.

Visitation is Monday, December 23, 2024 from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 12 noon in Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church.  Burial is Tuesday, December 24, 2024 at 9 a.m. in Dayton National Cemetery.
