Laroilyn "Bubba" Byrd, 65, born in Springfield, OH, quietly departed this life on March 6, 2021. She was the daughter of the late Leroy E. Sr. and Karyl Lewis. She graduated from Springfield High School. Laroilyn was a creative that displayed her talents through artistry (drawing and painting), being a seamstress & caregiver, and an avid softball player in her day.

Her life will forever be cherished in the lives of her daughter, Aisha (Jason) Nickerson, from her union to Michael Byrd, two grandsons, Suluki and J'yaire; sisters, Marsha Lewis and Vicki Crowe;  brothers, Leroy (Rita) Lewis, Jr. and Joseph (Karen) Lewis; an uncle, Reginald Hawkins; nieces, Erika Lewis, Monique (Abdullahi) Alatishe, and Ashley (Austin) Davenport; nephews, Jamey Lewis, Leroy (DeShaun) Lewis, III, and Brandon (Jaylene) Lewis; a host of great nieces & nephews, cousins, and special friends, Martia McWhorter, Skylarr J., Dianne Higgenbotham-West, and Debbie Marshall.

Laroilyn is preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Karyl Lewis; sister, Belinda Metcalf; maternal grandparents, Leadria Lewis & James Hawkins; and paternal grandparents, George Lewis and Edith Fisher.
