Lam Pruitt, 90, of Springfield, Ohio passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2015 in Springfield Regional Hospital. He was born May 26, 1924 in Macon, Georgia, a son of Lam and Susie Pruitt. Mr. Pruitt Served his country honorably in the U.S. Army and retired from Wright Patterson Air Force Base. His memory will be cherished by his loving wife, Myra Faye Pruitt, a daughter, Catherine Milan Pruitt-Gregory, a stepson, Phillip (Ticia) Porche, 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, a niece, Jessie Wilson, a nephew, Pete (Lola) Woods and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation for Mr. Pruitt will be held on Saturday, June 6 in the Church of God M.P.G, of T. from 5 to 6 PM. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 P.M. Saturday in the church. Burial will be Monday at 10:00 A.M. in Rose Hill Burial Park .
