Kristina L. Peterson, 34, took her wings to fly home with the Lord on August 16, 2016. She was born on August 25, 1981 to Rev. Eddie Lee Peterson Jr. and Darlene (Pope) Reid. She worked around the church and cared after her son. A native of Dayton, Ohio, she attended Jefferson High School, completed her diploma and enrolled in courses at Sinclair Community College. Kristina received Christ at an early age and began her spiritual walk in the Lord at St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church, then with Greater Harvest Baptist Church and later united with People's Baptist Church where she continued with the Lord by serving on the usher board, culinary committee, children ministry, and some administrative duties. She was preceded in death by her father, Rev. Eddie Lee Peterson Jr.; grandmothers, Rosie Mae Peterson and Pearle Mae Pope; beloved uncles, Rev. Leroy Eugene Peterson and Uncle Sunny Pope; beloved aunt, Patricia Pope and her beloved sister, Rosie Cornelison. She leaves in loving memory her son, Wasim and his father, Dwan; 8 sisters, Edith (Reuban) Grant, Leontyn'e Woods, DiAnna (Kamar) Wade, Scharron Kline, Lequoia Peterson, Adriel Peterson, Gereana Wiggins and Tiffany Peterson; 5 brothers, Shay (Sametra) Price, Kristopher (Khayesha) Peterson, Montinas Peterson Sr., Perry Wiggins Jr. and John Johnson Jr.; beloved uncles, Bester (Violetta) Peterson of Trotwood OH. Kenny Pope of Dayton, OH and Larry Pope of Dayton, OH and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
