Kevin L.
Williams
Mar 29, 1960 — Jun 16, 2026
Kevin L. Williams, 66, of Springfield, Ohio passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2026. Kevin was born March 29, 1960 in Springfield, Ohio the son of Donald Hill and Emmie (Williams) Vance.
Kevin leaves behind a loving family to cherish his memory, including his mother; his siblings, Craig, Archie and Donna; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Donald Hill, grandmother Mamie Williams, and siblings Trudy, Michael and Constance.
Kevin lived life on his own terms—with laughter, determination, and a personality that could light up any room. He never met a stranger and had a gift for making people smile. Whether sharing a story, cracking a joke, or striking up a conversation, Kevin left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He attended North High School and was known for his basketball skills at Kiefer Junior High, where his quick moves and smooth jump shot earned admiration from friends and classmates alike.
Above all, Kevin loved his mother and took great pride in looking out for her. He was also a devoted uncle to his nieces and nephews, always ready to offer encouragement, share a laugh, or lend a helping hand. Family meant everything to Kevin. He loved family gatherings, spending time with friends, and creating memories with the people he cared about most. He had a special appreciation for his aunts and uncles, whose love and support helped shape his life.
Anyone who knew Kevin knew he had a passion for sports, good conversation, and staying active. Kevin enjoyed riding his bicycle throughout Springfield, shooting dice, following sports, and cheering on his favorite teams—the Cincinnati Bengals and Los Angeles Lakers. He especially admired Magic Johnson and enjoyed talking about sports, cars, and life with anyone willing to listen.
While our hearts are heavy with loss, we find comfort in the memories, laughter, and love Kevin leaves behind. His spirit will live on in every smile he inspires and every story that begins with, “Remember when Kevin…” He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished.
Rest easy, Kevin. Your laughter echoes on.
