Mr. Kenneth F. Snead I, 67, of Springfield, departed this life on Friday, September 11, 2015. He was born March 21, 1948 in Brooklyn, New York a son of George and Eunice I. (Griffith) Snead. Mr Snead served honorably in the U. S. Navy and, was a faithful member of the Greater Works Apostolic Christian Assembly in Xenia where he served on the deacon board. He was employed as a Youth Counselor at Oesterlen Services for Youth. Mr. Snead leaves to Cherish his memory his loving wife, Cozette Snead, three sons and a daughter-in-law, Kenneth F. and Alicia Snead II of Copperas Cove, Texas; Walter A. Snead of Springfield and Matthew R. Snead of Bronx, New York, his father, George A. Snead of Wake Forest, North Carolina, two sisters and brothers-in-law, Connie and Lawrence Garrettson of Raleigh, North Carolina and Sharon and James Lee of Buckeye, Arizona, five grandchildren, Mychal Snead, Joshua Snead, Elijah Snead, Isaiah Snead and Aaliyah Snead, dear friends, Tracey and Matthew his church family and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother.
