Kathy Jo "Peanut" Evans, 65, of Springfield, Ohio passed away Saturday, July 27, 2024.  She was born May 17, 1959 in Springfield, Ohio the daughter of Arthur "Trimble" and Ide Belle (Pendergras) Evans.  Kathy graduated from Springfield North High School where she was a standout basketball player and played on the North High School State Championship team.  She served her country in the United States Navy and retired after years of dedicated service and was honorably discharged.

Kathy is survived by her sister, Tanya Evans and nephews, Duwon Evans and Michael Evans.  She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Alice Evans and brother, Richard Evans.

Kathy will be laid to rest in Dayton National Cemetery with military honors.
