IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Joseph
Johnson
March 2, 1977 – March 24, 2024
Joseph Johnson Jr. (Flo) was born on March 2, 1977, in Springfield, Ohio. He lived until he was 47, just over 2 weeks after his birthday on March 24, 2024.
Joseph had grown up in Springfield, Ohio, almost all his life. He had played for the Springfield Little Tigers football team as a kid. At the age of 22, he had his son, Jordan Johnson and just 1 day under 7 years later, he had his daughter, Jonéa Johnson. When his son had turned about 10, he coached for the same team that he had played for when he was a kid. His daughter, Jonéa, he loved very much and cherished her every day. Joseph was a loving father who made sure his family wouldn't go without, no matter the cost!
Joseph loved going to church every Sunday. He was very friendly to everyone he met. Most people could get right along with Joseph. But most importantly, he loved teasing his little sister, Tera Owens. He and Tera would fight about who's football team was better since Joseph loved Ohio State, and Tera loved Michigan, but the rivalry was only love. He always made sure his little sister was okay.
His memory will be cherished by his children, Jordan Johnson and Jonéa Johnson; his sister, Tera Owens and numerous cousins, friends, and family.
He is preceded in death by his mom, Roberta Owens; his father, Joseph Johnson Sr.; his paternal grandparents, Charlotte and Robert Simpson and his son, Justice Malcolm Malik Johnson. Joseph will be missed by many.
