John W. Clark, 81, of Yellow Springs, Ohio passed away April 22, 2025 in Hospice of Dayton in Dayton Ohio. He was born January 23, 1944 in Portsmouth, Ohio the son of Calvin and Julia (Williams) Clark.

John had been employed by Greene County and retired after many years of dedicated service.  He served his country in the United States Army and the United States Army Reserves and was honorably discharged.  He loved vintage cars and going to car shows.

He is survived by his wife, Sonja (Bond) Clark of  Yellow Springs, Ohio; a daughter, LaTisha Clark of Springfield, Ohio; sister, Grace Benson of Columbus, Ohio and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Calvin and Julia (Williams) Clark; brothers, Jim, Richard, Jody and  Dean Clark and Robert Crowe Clark; sisters, Audrey Clark, Lynn Evans, Mary Ann "Hookie" Wade and Florence Quirrel.

Visitation is Friday from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 12 noon in the Robert C. Henry Funeral Home.
