Joel Byron "Joe" Walker, 50, of Los Angeles, CA transitioned this life on Sunday, June 7th, 2015. He was born to Donald L. Walker, Sr. & Charlene D. Walker on October 9, 1964, in Plainfield, NJ. Joe traded the cold, harsh climate and inclement New Jersey weather for a much brighter, warmer, sunny California and remained there for over 20 years. Joe is known across the country as "Barber Extraordinaire" and never lost his passion in his pursuit of the ultimate cut. Joe was preceded in death by his mother, Charlene D. Walker. He leaves to cherish his memory 3 Children: Nafesah Williams (Tucson, AZ.), Joel B. Walker, Jr. (Los Angeles, CA.) & Tyler Walker (Bakersfield, CA), his parents, Donald L. Walker, Sr. & Delores M. Walker. 1 brother & sister-in-law: Donald L. & Jasmine N. Walker, Jr. and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Saturday, June 20th, 2015 from 1:30 - 3:00pm at the So. Fountain 7th Day Adventist Church. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM. Arrangements by the Robert C. Henry Funeral Home.
