Rev. Jerry Dee Moore Sr., 96, passed March 22, 2015. He was born February 6, 1919 in Huntsville, Alabama to Henry and Odell (Leslie) Moore. Rev. Moore retired from International Harvester after 31 years of dedicated service. He also served his country in the U. S. Army. His memory will be cherished by his daughter, Connie E. (Fred) Jones of Seattle, Washington; sons, Lesley O. (Marcella) Moore of Cincinnati, Ohio and Jerry D. (Cheryl) Moore Jr. of Columbus, Ohio, 17 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren, 12 great-great grandchildren; brother, Lollace (Susan) Tillman of Springfield, Ohio; daughter-in-law, Charlotte Moore of Columbus, Ohio and a host of other relatives and friends. Rev. Moore was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife, Nettie R. Moore; son, Wesley A. Moore Sr.; grandson, Wesley A. Moore Jr. and all but one of his siblings. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. in St. John Missionary Baptist Church, Pleasant St. entrance. Burial will follow in Ferncliff Cemetery.
