ROCKHOLD, Jeremy Lee, 34, of New Carlisle (Park Layne), Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 5, 2018. Jeremy was born on October 17, 1983 in Circleville, Ohio the son of the late David Lee Rockhold and Rachelle Annette (Mercer) Norman. In addition to his parents, Jeremy was preceded in death by grandparents, James L. Rockhold, Barbara S. Sterling, and Donald I. Mercer. He is survived by his sister, Jennifer L. Rockhold (Kenneth R. Castle II) and brother, David W. Rockhold, a niece, Kierstyn A. Castle, all of New Carlisle, Ohio, step-sister, Megan E. Briddell and step-brother, Trenton J. Briddell, of Dayton, Ohio, grandmother, Janet L. Rockhold, of Urbana, Ohio, two very close friends, Jesse A. Helms and James E. (Amy) Power, several aunts, uncles, and friends. Jeremy was a humanitarian and believed in several philanthropic organizations. He spoke often about wanting to go to Kenya to help build wells to provide clean drinking water to those who needed it. I'm sure he would have gone too, had he stayed with us longer. He also talked about how being an organ donor was very important to him, and he will be saving three lives with that selfless act. There will be a brief funeral service held at Robert C. Henry-Clark Funeral Home at 527 Robert C. Henry Way, Springfield, Ohio 45506, on Saturday, October 13th from 3 PM to 5 PM.
