Jeffrey L. Jones, 62, of Springfield, Ohio passed away, just 17 days after his beloved wife, Debra, passed away on February 19, 2025. Jeffery Lamont Jones entered eternal rest March 8, 2025. He was born August 22, 1962, in Springfield, Ohio to the late Reuben Jones and Madeline Myers.  Jeffery graduated from Springfield South High School.

He was a faithful and devoted member of the Mount Carmel Baptist Church of Springfield, Ohio where he served on various ministries: Deacon's, Trustee, Usher and Sunday School teacher.

Jeffery leaves to cherish his memory two sons, Xavier Beavers of Springfield, Ohio and JaJuan (Carolyn) Faulkner Sr. of  Dayton, Ohio; daughter-in-law, Lucreatia Fultz; sister,  Felicia Higginbotham of Springfield, Ohio; brothers, Richard Myers and Shawn (Erica) Jones Springfield, Ohio; bonus brothers, Harry Rayand and Guy James; two loving aunts, Marie Pritchet and Dee Jones; seven grandchildren, JaJuan Faulkner Jr. of Dayton, Ohio, Jalonte Faulkner of Dayton, Ohio, Jaclyn Taborn, of Springfield, Ohio, Dominic and Vakari Fultz of Akron, Ohio, Kingston Beavers and Zavion Beavers; devoted nephews, Craig Leslie and Jaheim Almon, and niece Tylysha Leslie all of Springfield, Ohio; devoted cousins, Tonya (Jimmy) Hall of Springfield, Ohio and Pastor Bruce (Karla) Jones Clayton, Ohio and a host of cousins, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, family, and friends.

Jeffery was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Debra Jones; son, Vincent Fultz ;two brothers, Kenny (Erpy) Jones and Randy Burns, paternal grandparents, uncles. Aunts and cousins.

A Celebration of Life service will be Saturday, March 15, 2025 in Zion Hill Baptist Church.  Visitation is from 10 a. m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. with Pastor Bruce Jones officiating.
