James O. Upshaw, 64, of Springfield, OH passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2016. He was born April 3, 1951 in Springfield the son of John and Katherine (Graham) Upshaw. He leaves to cherish his memory a son, James Upshaw; daughter, Bethany Upshaw-May; brothers, John Upshaw, Gregory Upshaw, Philip Upshaw, Peter Upshaw; sister, Vanessa Upshaw; the mother of his children, Diantha Applin; grandchildren, Kayla Upshaw, James Upshaw II, Avy'ona Upshaw May, Adymin May, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends, Mrs. Dorothy Minote, Shirley Hart, Mrs. Dink Owens, and Ms. Birdie Johnson. He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Vivian Mitchell.
