James E. Hunter. 87, of South Charleston, Ohio, passed away December 6, 2017. He was born December 15, 1929 in Yellow Springs, Ohio the son of Cecil and Constance (Gee) Hunter. Mr. Hunter retired from Central State University as a Lab Technician after many years of dedicated service.

His memory will be cherished by his loving and devoted wife of 63 years, Anna (Jackson) Hunter; eight grandchildren, Phillip Gates, Jessica Thomas, Julia Thomas, Jackson Hunter, Kathryn Robinson, Daniel Robinson, Samuel Robinson and Bridget Robinson, five great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Marvin Jackson; sister-in-law, Ruth Ann Hunter and a host of other relatives and friends. Mr. Hunter was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Jeffrey E. Hunter; a daughter, Melissa B. Hunter and two brothers, Paul Hunter and William Hunter.

Visitation is Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. in the Robert C. Henry Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Glen Forest Cemetery, Yellow Springs, Ohio.
