James E. Gibson, 70, of Springfield passed away Saturday, March 5, 2016. He was born June 13, 1944 in Springfield, OH to David Gibson, Sr. and Vera L. (Young) Gibson. Mr. Gibson is survived by his wife, Vivian L. (Browning) Gibson; daughter, Nichole Watkins; stepchildren, James Harden, Monique Harden-Coleman, Mitchell Browning, and Kendra (Browning) Hickman; grandchildren, Lamont Austin Watkins and Tenisha Watkins, and a host of step grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service for Mr. Gibson will be held Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 1pm in the Robert C. Henry Funeral Home.
