James L. Cunningham, 51, of Springfield, Ohio passed away Saturday, February 10, 2024.  He was born September 1, 1972 in Brooklyn, New York.  James enjoyed fishing and was a fan of the Chicago Bulls, New York Yankees, Brooklyn Nets and The Ohio State University Buckeyes.

He is survived by his wife, Kristen Cunningham and daughter, Yvette Cathline Ashley Gantt; step children, Haley Newport and Jordan Newport; son, Ja'Kori Mykel Watkins and daughter, Jada Marie Watkins and their mother, Brittany Watkins; sons, Semaj Gantt and Samar Gantt; daughter, Amari Gantt, and special friend, Melanie Burba and other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Isaiah Gantt and a sister, Yvette Gantt.

A Celebration of Life service will be at a later date.
