James D. Brandon, 83, of Springfield, Ohio passed away July 17, 2017 in Miami Valley Hospital. He was born September 3, 1933 in Huntsville, Al a son of Detroit and Sallie (Mason) Brandon. James worked with the Teledyne Co until their closing, worked for several years at the Fairborn Water Dept. and for the United Senior Services for 16 years. He was a member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church and served in the Christian Men's Fellowship. He served his country in the United States Army receiving an honorable discharge in 1961. James leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Debber (Price) Brandon; daughters, Rose Brandon, Danita (Keith) Brandon, Karen Brandon, Veronica (Thomas) Porter and Kristi Brandon; sons, Andre' (Gaye) Brandon and James (Liz) White; sister, Mae Florence Carlton; special friends, Deacon Henry Shropshire, the Christian Men's Fellowship, Miss Mamie Allen, Minister Robert and Manola Edwards, James and Ethel Ferguson, Andrea Mitchell and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Demerious Brandon; sons, Gary Glenn and Richard Glenn and brother, Leo Brandon.
