Inez (Gaines) Watson departed this life on Saturday, February 15, 2020 in Springfield Regional Medical Center.  She was born on February 22, 1925 in Minter, Alabama the daughter of Gilbert and Alberta (Johnson) Gaines.  She was the last of 25 children.

She was married to the late Rayfield Watson for 37 years.

Mrs. Watson was a member of Covenant United Methodist Church.  She loved crocheting, playing scrabble, gardening and watching sports with her family.

Her memory will be cherished by her two daughters, Arthetta Jackson of Springfield, Ohio and Emma Watson of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; three grandchildren, Larry, Michael and Shawn (Jamie) Jackson all of Springfield, Ohio; 5 great grandchildren, Jay, Joshua and Jahnia, Jacob and Jordyn Jackson; sister-in-law, Leola Gaines; special nephews, Leroy Gaines, Mike (Dawn) Gaines, Carlton Gaines and Douglas Gaines; special nieces, Dorothy Duncan and Shelley Wagner; special cousins, Neal Gaines, Jackie Gaines and Mary Gaines; special friend, Rosetta Garrett and a host of other relatives and friends.
