Henrietta Hairston, 75, passed away January 2, 2017. She was born August 13, 1941 in Springfield, Ohio a daughter of the late Henry A. and Ruth E. (Teasley) Burns. Henrietta leaves to cherish her memory, her loving and devoted husband, Neal Hairston, Jr.; son, Kelly Neal (Eden) Hairston; grandchildren, Derek E. Hairston and Adrienne E. Hairston and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, Cedric Burns; sisters, Laura Burns and Elizabeth Gilbreath and step sister, Joanne Young. The family of Henrietta Hairston would like to send a heartfelt thank you to the staff at the Ohio's Community Mercy Hospice, Springfield Regional Cancer Center, nurse Jane Goff, all the aides, Dr. Khanna and Dr. Umerani. Private services will be held at a later date.
