Glenda M. Upshaw, 80, went Home to be with the Lord on September 8, 2019 after a lengthy illness.  She was born March 3, 1939 in Springfield, Ohio the daughter of William "Bus" and Mamie (Kirksey) Palmer.  Glenda was a long time employee of the Springfield City Schools.  She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband, Cornelius "Corny" Upshaw; three children, Michelle (Herbert) Elliott of Lilburn, Georgia, Pamela (Dean) Kenerly and Van "Eric" Upshaw; grandchildren, India Martin and Mya Martin, both of Stone Mountain, Georgia,  Deanie Kenerly, Marcus Cross and James "Biz" Elzie of Springfield, Ohio; 4 great grandchildren, Miyanna, Royale, Harmony and Kory Jr.; siblings, Patricia Cason of Columbus, Ohio, Shirley Freeman, Debbie (Marvin) Flowers, Charles (Marie) Palmer and Jerome Palmer all of Springfield, Ohio and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Glenda was preceded in death by her loving parents, brother, William "Sugie" Palmer and Donald "Sweetie" Palmer; sister, Beverly E. Robertson; step daughter, Michelle (Mikhy) Cross Elzie and a special aunt, Lillie Huffman.
