George Lawrence "Larry" Tutt, 64, passed away Monday, April 18, 2016. He was born February 3, 1952 in Springfield, Ohio son of Elmer and Mary (Walker) Henry. Larry was retired and had served his country in the United States Navy, Vietnam Era. He was an active member of the Brotherhood Committee at the Church of Jesus Family Worship Center, where he had been a faithful member since May 1991. He was proud to be a member and loved his church family dearly. Very quiet and simple man, he enjoyed listening to baseball games on his radio and he also followed local high school sports. Many probably didn't know that he had quite the collection of Vinyl records, 8-track tapes, and reel to reels. His memory will be cherished by his daughter, Valerie (Christopher) Kemp, twin grandchildren Ian and Emerson Kemp of Dayton, OH; step daughter Nassa Smith of Springfield, OH; brothers: Ross Henry of Washington, DC, Kenneth Henry of Louisville, KY, and Terrence Millsap; sisters: Betty Bean of Clarksville, IN, Eleanor Cobb of Colorado Springs, CO, Kathleen Durr and Patricia Harrington of Lima, OH as well as a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, friends, and church family. Larry was preceded in death by his parents; his adopted parents, George and Lydia Tutt of Rome, GA; brothers; David, Charles and Ronald Henry of Springfield, OH; sisters, Virginia West, Janet Givens and Faith Henry-Smith of Springfield, OH.
