Obituary

General Bradford, Jr., 91, of Springfield, Ohio departed this life on October 13, 2016. He was born September 7, 1925 a son of General Bradford, Sr. and Caroline (Ragland) Bradford. General served our country in the United States Navy in World War II and retired from Wright Patterson Air Force Base after 30 years of service. He was an active member at St. John Missionary Baptist Church serving in the Christian Men's Fellowship, Male Chorus, Senior Choir, Mass Choir, Trustee Board and the Finance Committee until his health prevented him to do so. He also joined a bowling league and loved to fish. He leaves to cherish his memory; sisters, Cora Mona Russell of Springfield, Ohio, Georgie Lee Bradford and Janie May Bradford and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews. He also leaves special friends, Gary Walden and James Wyatt. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Catherine (Castle) Bradford; sister, Mary (Deese) Bradford - Simms; brothers, Robert "Bo" Bradford, Frank "Skeets" Bradford and John "Neck" Bradford.
