Gary S. Mitchell, 65, of Springfield, Ohio passed away Friday, September 16, 2016 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born November 14, 1950 a son of Napoleon and Elsie (McConaughey) Mitchell. Gary leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Gloria (Robinson) Mitchell; children, Gary, Jr., Charles, Bruce, Sheila (Maurice) and Gloria; 11 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; brothers, Wayne, Anthony (Lorna), Nathaniel, James and Gregory; sisters, Margaret Minnisfield and Melanie Mitchell and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation is Saturday, September 24, 2016 from 5pm until the time of service at 7 pm in the Robert C. Henry Funeral Home.
