Faye F. Benson, 79, of Springfield, Ohio passed away May 28, 2021.  She was born December 20, 1941 the daughter of Anna (Robinson) and Matthew Benson.  Faye graduated from Springfield High School and found her life's purpose in caring for the elderly.  She loved her job.  She retired from Westminister Thurber Retirement Community in Columbus, Ohio.  Faye had been a member of Greater First Baptist Church and Eastern Star, Lily of the Valley #7. Her memory will be cherished by her sons, William Benson Sr. and Corry Benson Sr.; daughter, Dana Benson; brother, Matthew (Loretta) Benson; nieces, Vicki Colvin and Cecila Benson; nephews, Rodney Benson and Mark Benson; special childhood friend, Eleanor (Homer) Roberts, 13 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.  Faye was preceded in death by her parents, son, Kevin Benson; daughter, Wilma Benson and sister, Teresa McLemore. Visitation is Saturday, June 5, 2021 from 10 a.m until the time of service at 11 a.m. in the Robert C. Henry-Clark Funeral Home.
