Eula “Martha” Morant (Greenip), 73, of Springfield, Ohio passed away Sunday, September 27th, 2026. She was born December 28, 1952 in Teaneck, NJ. The daughter of Daniel L, Greenip and Dorotha G. Pritchard, Martha grew up in Westwood, NJ, where she went to Westwood public schools. She moved to various places through out life various parts of Bergen County, and she had been to Springfield before in her younger years, but did not fully move here until 2005.

She was loving and accepting of everyone. Her family was everything, especially her grand and great grand kids. To know her is to know she would give the shirt off her back. She was a second mom to many with her wisdom, experience, witty sarcasm, and she spoke from her big heart, usually without a filter. Martha loved fishing, puzzles, and dream catchers. Koalas and Betty Boop filled her room with shelves of collectibles that she has been growing for years.

Martha has had many jobs throughout life, the last 26 yrs were with Walmart on Bechtle Avenue. She loved the friendships that she built with her coworkers. She was always excited to go to Saturday morning breakfast with them at the IHOP, and Frisch’s Big Boy. Family was everything, she loved spending time with her kids, grand kids, and great grand kids.

Martha was preceded by death of her one true love, James R Singleton; her step-daughter, Patricia Singleton, and grandson, Tremayne Corely.

She is survived by her sister, Gail Greenip-Hudson of Melbourne, FL; brother, Claude Greenip of Westwood, NJ; her 3 children, 2 step children and their spouses, Paul Greenip and wife Kim of Indianola, MS, Tina Morant and husband, Daniel Morton, Dayton, OH, Gayle Morant and husband, Anthony Brim of Springfield, OH, Loretha and Carrol Singleton of NJ; her 12 grand children, Robert Morant, Jazmine Brooks, Jaleel Brooks, Aaliyah Kastner, Aeva Kastner, Aubrey Kastner, Macai Brim, Kiara Greenip, Tazhinae Woods, Kailyn Greenip, Nickolas Villanueve Flores and Addelynne Brim, 7  great grand kids. Additionally, countless bonus children, nieces, nephews, cousins, her close friends and coworkers along the way.

Visitation will be Saturday, October 3, 2026 from 12 noon until the time of service at 1 p.m. in the Robert C. Henry Funeral Home, 527 Robert C. Henry Way Springfield, Ohio 45506. You may send flowers and donations to the funeral home.
