Eugene English, age 94, transitioned on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 in Springfield, Ohio. Born in Atlanta (Ben Hill), Georgia; the son of William and Bertha (Gilbert) English; Eugene was a lifelong resident of Springfield, Ohio. Gene worked at the Springfield Water Department from where he later retired. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 38 years Eular Belle Morgan, and later by his second wife Viola Virginia Clark. He leaves behind many nieces, nephews, grand and great- grand nieces and nephews, family and close friends. Viewing will be at 9:00 AM, January 30, 2016 at the Robert C. Henry Funeral Home, Springfield, Ohio. Burial will be at the Ferncliff Cemetery after viewing.
