Estelle Laverne Grimes, known to many as "Granny", 68, of Springfield, Ohio went home to be with the Lord June 7, 2016. She was born a native of Wheeling, WV on March 21, 1948 a daughter of John and Doris (Marple) Rose. Estelle was a life long member of Greater Grace Temple Ministries. She was a dietician for many years and retired as a daycare provider for the State of Ohio. That wasn't her job, it was her passion in life! Her hobbies were socializing and cooking. She fed everyone, not just food but fed their spirit as well. Estelle was a generous woman of God who touched the hearts of many lives with her presence. Her heart was her grandchildren, she said they were all 'gifts from God'. Estelle leaves to cherish her memory her sons, Michael (Bobbie) Poling and Christopher High; daughters, Monica (Arrick) Richardson, Love Poling, and Christina High; grandchildren, Channing, Marquan, Arrinae, Timothy, Katie Jo, Mikayla, Tori Beth, Ashley, Harley, Stacey, Marshall (Britney), Lovell, Christopher, Omri, Charles, Joe'velle, A'maree Estelle, Love, Donell, Chantell, Justice, and Jules; great grandchildren, Ava'Lynne, Kash, Jamiya, Graydon; sisters, Jonnette Rose, Elsie Blake and a host of other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Meta Jo Rose; grandson, Johnathon Poling; son, Shawn Tayo Grimes; and nephew, Donnie Rose. A special thanks to Sharon, Linda Ray, L.
