Born February 8, 1928 in Lincoln Alabama. He is the son of Florence & Pinkie (Davis) Truss. He attended Springfield City schools. He was well known for his brick and masonry work. He departed this life March 29,2016 in Southbrook Care Center. He leaves his wife of 55 years Edna M. Truss; step children, Irene McWhorter and Napoleon (Rebekah) Biles; brothers, Gary (Rosie) Truss and Anthony Truss; sister, Wanda May, all of Springfield. 4 Grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren & one great great grandchild. He also leaves to cherish his memory aunts, Christer Bell Carpenter, Eliza Blanchard, and Margie Davis and special aunt, Annie Pearl Yates.
