Elaine Weathers passed away in  her residence Friday, May 12, 2017, with her family by her side. Memorial services will be Friday, May 19, 2017 at 10am in the Robert C. Henry Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family is respectfully asking for donations towards the funeral cost. Donations can be made via PayPal to , or sent to 422 W. Euclid Ave., Springfield, OH 45506 with attn: Erica Jones. Elaine was born to Willie and Violet (Colquitt) Weathers in Meansville, GA on December 8, 1946. Her memory will be cherished by her loving mother, Violet Weathers, an aunt, Fannie Colquitt, and siblings, Ethel, Harris, Barry, and Richard Weathers. She devoted her life to her children, Brandon (Nicole) Weathers, Erica (Shawn) Jones, and Michael (Trisha) Weathers. Her grandchildren, whom she adored, Dominique, Ka'Dae and Destini Jones. Shaniah, Jasmine, Myca, and Natasia Weathers, Brandon Jr., Braydon, Zavian, Teersa, and Kylie. Great grandchildren, Nyra, Aniyah, Landon and Rae'lyn. A host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. Elaine was a lover of life, an advocate for every animal, a connoisseur of coffee, the record holder for Best Family Chef, and was brilliant enough to find even the humor in Seinfeld. If you were lucky, you could sometimes hold a conversation with Elaine while she watched law shows and sipped coffee from her cat mug. May we live and love in her image, and may she never be forgotten.
