Dorothy N. Franklin, 89, of Springfield, Ohio passed from Life to Eternal Life on May 11, 2016.  Born September 17, 1926 in Springfield, Ohio to Ersel and Helen (Baker) January. Dorothy attended and graduated from Springfield High School. She worked at Wright Patterson Air Force Base and was a faithful church member serving and praising the Lord until her death. Dorothy "Doma, to most of us" demonstrated her love of the Lord singing with the January Sisters until her marriage to Robert Lee Franklin took her to Michigan.  Mrs. Franklin was a member of the House of Prayer in Springfield, Ohio and Gethsemane Apostolic Church in Detroit, Michigan.  Her memory will be cherished by her sister, Carolyn Mebane; nephew, Joseph A. Morris II and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, church families and friends.  Doma was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Robert L. Franklin and her sisters, Dolores (January) Wells-Douglas, Mildred (January) Higgenbotham and Betty (January) Morris.  Aunt Doma you are loved and will be sorely missed but today we celebrate your Homegoing.
