Dorothy "Dot" Louise Crossley, 85, of Springfield, Ohio went to be with the Lord on April 8, 2021 in Springfield Regional Medical Center.

She was born September 5, 1935 in Sparta, Georgia. She was the daughter of Charles and Ruby (Sade) (Harshaw) Battles. She retired from the Springfield City School Board after many years of service. She was a member of the Restored Life Ministries. Dorothy loved to shop and sing.

Dorothy leaves to cherish her memory three loving sons, Arthur (Antoinette D.) Crossley Jr., Bruce A. Crossley and Von L. Crossley (Jinada Madison)  all of Springfield, Ohio, 10 grandchildren; one special grandson, Von Crossley Jr., 15 great-grandchildren; one brother, Charles Battles Jr. all of Springfield, Ohio and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and her special pet, Buttons.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Crossley Sr., her parents, Charles and Ruby Battles and her granddaughter, Kashawna Crossley.
