Dorothea F. Raines, 62, of Springfield passed away Sunday, April 3, 2016. She was born September 28, 1953 in Raleigh, NC a daughter of Joe and Dorothy (Gill) Raines. Dorothea was a devoted mother and grandmother. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Therina Thompson and Tarsha White; niece, Susan Smith; grandchildren, Nakeisha and Deneisha Lawrence, Mark Thompson, Jr., and Malik Thompson, Ausha and Sausha Threats and Tevin Threats and one great grandchild, Navauja Lawrence. Dorothea was preceded in death by her parents and an aunt Martha Smith. A celebration of Dorothea's life will be held Friday, April 8, 2016 at 5pm at 2109 Clifton Ave, Springfield, OH.
