Curtis L. DeArmond, 74, a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather went home to be with the Lord June 22, 2017. He was born in Rockwood, TN August 23, 1942 a son of Alberta and Harry Dan DeArmond. Curtis retired from the City of Springfield Water Distribution after over 30 years of service. He loved to spend time with his family and friends. Curtis leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Charlotte DeArmond who were joined together over 50 years with 37 years of marriage; 8 children, Michael DeArmond, Clayton DeArmond, Melinda DeArmond (who he loved like a daughter), Marcus (Adrianne) DeArmond, Curtis (Lori) Benton, Eric (Linda) DeArmond, Brian (DeArmond, Latasha (Sam) Bullock and Belinda DeArmond; 46 Grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren; brother, Williard Dan (Leah) DeArmond; sisters, Arlene DeArmond- McVay, Harriet DeArmond and Nancy DeArmond -Lowe; special cousin, Keith Gilbreath, who he loved like a son and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry Dan and Alberta DeArmond; son, Chris E. DeArmond, Sr.; grandsons, Tovan Benton, Brandon DeArmond, Jordan DeArmond, Raheem DeArmond and a sister, Angela DeArmond -West.
