Craig R. Payne, 77, of Springfield, Ohio passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2015 in Villa of Springfield Nursing Center. He was born January 3, 1938 in Springfield, Ohio the son of Glenn and Lois Payne. Craig was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis (Lawson) Payne, his parents and a stepson, Theodore Higgins. Mr. Payne is survived by his children, Kelvin (Sharon) Lawson of Springfield, OH, Karen Lawson of Columbus, OH, Debra Payne of Lawrenceville, GA, Rickena (Jerome) Lambert of Lawrenceville, GA, Kay (William) Embry of Marietta, GA, Craig Payne Jr. of Washington, PA, Keith (Monica) Payne of Lawrenceville, GA, Kevin Payne of Washington, PA, Darrell Payne of Candice, MN, Daniel Rowe of Los Angeles, CA, Vincent (Stephanie) Rowe of Springfield OH, Rondell (Meredith) Rowe of Columbus OH and a daughter-in-law, Pamela Higgins of Springfield, OH; brothers, June Payne, Mickey Payne, Darrell Payne, Vance Payne and Bobby Payne, a number of grand-children and great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
