Chester M. Kendall Jr.,82, of Springfield, Ohio passed away Friday, July 28, 2023 in Good Shepard Village.  He was born April 15, 1941 in Springfield, Ohio the son of Sally Lee Williams and Chester M. Kendall Sr.  Chester had been employed as a machinist.  He served his country in the United States Army and the United States Navy.  Chester skated in the Memorial Day Parade for 30 years and served on the Culture Fest Board, along with his son, for 25 years. Chester was a member of Second Baptist Church.

Chester is survived by his loving family, his son, Stephen Rolls Sr.; four grandchildren, Peggy Sparks, Regina Sparks, Ant'Waum Rolls and Stephen Rolls Jr.; special cousin, Dianne Ferguson all of Springfield, Ohio and a host of other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, who raised him, Henry and Hannah (Powell) Williams; aunts, Henrietta Butts and Shirley Mitchell and cousin, Lonnie Bell Jr.

A Celebration of Life service will be Saturday, August 12, 2023 in the Robert C. Henry Funeral Home at 12 noon.
