Charles Edward Compton Sr., 71, of Springfield, Ohio passed away Sunday, March 5, 2023.  He was born April 14, 1951 in Springfield, Ohio the son of Charles and Rosalee (Oliver) Compton.  Charles served his country in the United States Marine Corps and was honorably discharged.

His memory will be cherished by his son, Charles E. Compton Jr.; daughters, Adroncia Compton Williams and Danielle Compton; brothers, James Compton, Phillip Compton and Roscoe Kidd; sisters, Roxane (Milton) Gaines, Susan Kidd and Lorna Kidd and a host of grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

Vistation is Tuesday, March 21, 2023 from 11:30 a.m.- 12:30 p.m. in the Robert C. Henry Funeral Home.  Burial will follow the visitation at Dayton National Cemetery at 2 p.m.
