Carolyn A. Young, passed away unexpectedly August 23, 2022 at her home in Brandon, Mississippi.  Carolyn was an avid gardener and also liked to fish.  She worked many years as an LPN working with the elderly and special needs clients

She is survived by her mother, Arnelious Gaines; daughter, YaVonne (Andre) Stokes; 5 grandchildren, Denecia (Kyle) Young, Dennis D. Young, Elyjah Davis, Jeremiah Davis and Josiah Canales; brothers, Milton (Roxane) Gaines Jr., Lamar "Gene" Gaines and sister, Jacquelyn Gaines. Carolyn was cherished by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Carolyn was preceded in death by her father, Milton L Gaines Sr.; son, Dennis E. Young Jr.; husband, Dennis E. Young Sr. and brother, Craig L. Gaines.

Memorial service will be held Saturday, October 8, 2022 from 3-4 p.m. in the Robert C. Henry Funeral Home.  At the end of the service a balloon launch will take place immediately after the service.
