Carolyn Jean Henry, 72, of Springfield departed this life on Friday, July 31, 2015. She was born February 2, 1943 in Springfield a daughter of Robert E. and Mary (Fillmore) Renshaw. Mrs. Henry was employed by the State of Ohio Board of Mental Health, where she retired after many years of dedicated service. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church where she was active in the church choirs. She was past Worthy Matron of the Golden Star Chapter # 1 Order of the Eastern Star, she served on the Board of MRDD and worked at Elderly United for several years. Mrs. Henry loved children. She enjoyed going camping, fishing, going to the casinos and knitting. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving and devoted husband of 54 wonderful years, William Michael Henry, a daughter Sharon Broady, two brothers and a sister-in-law, Michael and Ann Renshaw and Billy Renshaw, a sister and brother-in-law Linda and Ronald Cox, five grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren, a special cousin and friend, Glenna Kennerly, special friends, Nona Echols and Betty Portis and a number of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sons, Carl Michael Henry and William "Billy" Henry.
