Byrone Evonda Battles, 64, of Columbus, Ohio went home to be with our Lord Tuesday, May 2, 2017. She was born April 3, 1953 a daughter of the late Hazel Johnson and Wardell (Williams) Lawson. Ms. Battles leaves to cherish her memory her son, Jeffrey (Kenna) Battles, Jr.; grandchildren, Kiera Battles, Jeffrey Battles III and Justin Battles; sisters, Annette (William) Evans and Anna Lee Jones; sister in law, Audrey Jean Phillips; father and mother in law, Robert and Mary Green and a host of other family members and friends. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Otis Phillips and sisters, Geneva Nelms and Connie Phillips.
