Brian Malik Woodson transitioned from earth to eternal life on October 31, 2016. Brian was born August 4, 1974 to Mary Woodson and Charles Palmer. Brian attended Springfield South High School. He was married to Heather Yun of North Carolina. He is the father of three children: Javantae, Brianna and Kadijah and the grandfather of LaShawn. Brian was preceded in death by his adoring grandmother, Dorothy Woodson and his grandfather and most avid champion, Ellis Woodson. He is survived by his mother, Mary Ann Woodson; his loving sister, Heather Woodson; a special brother, Dwight Witt; two aunts, Cynthia Woodson Brooks and Ellen Woodson; an uncle, Rossi Brooks; nephew, Karlon Ragland; a great grand aunt, Laura Sims. He also leaves to remember him, his adopted sisters, Amy Royster and Brandy White, as well as a host of cousins and friends.
