Brenda J. (Buffington) Moore, born April 5, 1947, passed away on February 19, 2026 . Brenda had been employed at Drackett Inc. in Urbana, Ohio. She was a human resource counselor at Hayward Middle School, a bingo coordinator, an interior decorator and chef. Her hobbies were bowling and softball.

Brenda Moore was a wife, a mother and sister. She is survived by her siblings, Lynn, Valerie and Trent Watkins, and Jerry Dyer. Her memory will be cherished by her children, Antonio Moore, Lonnie Moore, Crystal Moore, and LaShawnda Moore. Brenda also was a beloved grandmother who leaves behind a host of grandchildren, Tyron Moore, Tyesha Moore, Jade Cochran, Reko Cochran, Masiah, Sparkle, Mariah and Isaiah Akram, Alicia, Dante, Tyrese, Shanay, Aaron, Jessica, Brandy, Marcus, Jordan, Justin, and godson, Chris. Her special friends are Shirlene, Delvin, Angie, Rhonda, Rebecca Banks, Miss Betty Jo, Kim Walker, Heather Gaskins, Cordia Stevens and Stefanna Sowell.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Darnell and Josephine (Hall) Buffington; son, Christopher “Guy” Moore; her brothers, Victor, Darrell and Donnie; sister, Deborah; grandsons, Baby Tony, Thor, and Sean and niece, Rocky.

With great sadness, Brenda's son, Lonnie Moore passed away February, 23, 2026, just four days after his mother.

A memorial service will be Friday, April 10, 2026 at 2 p.m. in the Robert C. Henry Funeral Home.
