Brenda Joyce Jones was called to her reward and awakened to eternal life on November 21, 2020 surrounded by her loving family in her home. She was 65 years old. Brenda was born on July 7, 1955 in Springfield, OH. to her parents, Raymond and Geneva McCoy. She met her life partner of 41 and husband of 38 years, Larry Allen Jones Sr. and began the foundation for their family. They went on to have 2 beautiful children, Jasmine and Larry "Bruh". Brenda attended Clark State Community College and graduated with an AA  specializing in art. She began her work career with Grossmans and Kmar  Department stores. Brenda then devoted 28+ years to Olan Mills Photo Studio creating memories and art through photography. She went on to work for Clark County D.D. There she continued her passion for art and affinity for special needs individuals by teaching art therapy. She ended her working career at Yamada North America. Brenda was a beautiful woman with a robust and artistic spirit. She had many hobbies including karate and painting. She was also a devoted member of Greater Grace Temple.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Larry Allen Jones Sr.; two children Jasmine (Bryan) Crite of Galloway OH and Larry A. Jones Jr. of Springfield, OH; Brothers and Sisters in Love, Richard (Bettie) Jones, Sr., Mobile, AL, Marsha Jones, Springfield, OH, Bruce (Karla) Jones, Clayton, OH, William Michael (Veronica) Jones, and L.E. Darlene Jones all of Springfield, OH; nieces and nephews, Kirstine Danna, Katina Jones, Richard Jones Jr., Emily Jones, LaShaunta Jones, Candace Steen, LeJuan Jones, Ebony Jones, Diamond Farley, Veronique Jones, "Special" daughters, Dane'sha Bullard, Kandis May, Suszan May, Earlie Smith, Shannelle Townsend; cousins, Laverne Harper, Margret McCoy, Jean McCoy; "Special" friends, Alvina Campbell, Myra Blake, Soni Griffie, Gale May, Toni Johnson and a host of great nieces, great nephews, cousins, friends, and church family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Geneva McCoy.  She will be fondly missed.

Visitation is Friday, November 27, 2020 from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 12 noon in Greater Grace Temple.  Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.
