Brenda Louise (Williams) Beard, 78, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at Hospice of Dayton.  She was born August 24, 1947 in Springfield, Ohio the daughter of Kenneth L. and Valerie (Davis) Williams Sr.

Brenda graduated from Springfield North high School and attended The Ohio State University for Registered Nursing.  She worked at Community Hospital in Springfield, Ohio and Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles, California as a unit clerk.  Brenda also work at Central State University in the admissions department for several years until accepting a position at the Clark County Child Support Agency in the fraud department for 15 years.  In retirement, Brenda worked at Meijer Department Store as a greeter.  She loved meeting people and everyone she met loved her.  Shortly thereafter, she received the diagnosis of multiple myeloma.  

Brenda continued to enjoy going to horse races with her close friend, going shopping on Snooty Fox Tours with her special friend, Bobbi Cunningham and watching her cooking shows on TV.  On sunny days Brenda enjoyed walking at the reservoir and spending time with her grandkids.

Brenda leaves her memory to be cherished by her daughters, Sherry (Tommie) Butler of Fairborn, Ohio and Cory (Joseph) Hedges of Enon, Ohio; grandchildren, Christopher Butler, Taylor (Omar) Walker, T.J. Richardson and Teddy Hedges; great grandchildren Omaria Carr, Omari Carr (Angel Baby), Trinity Walker and Oya Omoheni Carr; cousin, Rene' Peterson; special friend, Bobbi Cunningham; best friend, Debbie Cantrell; ex-husband, Robert Beard and a host of other relatives and friends.  Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth L. and Valerie L. Williams Sr. and brothers, Kenneth L. Williams Jr. and Darryl A Williams.

Brenda will be forever loved and missed.
