Benson Foster Ragland, 58, of Springfield, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on April 4, 2016. He was born September 19, 1957 in Springfield, Ohio the son of Joan (Orr) and Earl Ragland. Benson spent his working years as a healthcare provider and enjoyed caring for others. Benson was full of love and laughter and he enjoyed singing, dancing, reading and family gatherings. He will forever be remembered within the Springfield community as Uncle Benny and Cuz! He is survived by his daughter, Ayana (Dorian) Jordan of Dayton, Ohio; brothers, Marcus (Lisa) Ragland of Zion, Illinois, Rodney Ragland and Alford both of Springfield, Ohio and Earl D. Ragland Jr.; sisters, Monica Ragland of Columbus, Ohio, Rhonda Underwood of Gurnee, Illinois, Udora Ragland and Alfreda Mays both of Springfield, Ohio and Lucretia Edley; grandchildren, Jada, Dezirei, Tionne and Mikey; aunt, Catherine Hansbro of Springfield, Ohio and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
