Mr. Benjamin Johnson, 85 of Springfield departed this life on Saturday, April 25, 2015 in Mary Scott Nursing Center. He was born May 18, 1929 in Springfield, Ohio, a son of William and Mary (Jones) Johnson. Mr. Johnson was employed by the City of Springfield for many years. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving daughter Genver Gray, a brother, two sisters, several grandchildren, a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife and his parents. Private services will be held at the convenience of his family. Funeral arrangments are by the Robert C. Henry Funeral Home.
