With profound sadness and deep gratitude for a life richly lived, we announce the peaceful passing of Barry Anthony Davis Sr., who departed this world on August 24, 2026, at his home in Springfield, Ohio. He was 79 years old.

Born in Springfield on May 4, 1947, Barry was the beloved son of Caesar and Pauline (Yates) Davis He was a proud product of the Springfield City Schools, later advancing his education at The Ohio State University, & Wright State University laying a strong foundation for his future endeavors. His commitment to service led him to the United States Army, where he honorably served his country.

Barry's professional journey was marked by diligence and an entrepreneurial spirit. He dedicated an impressive 34 years of his career to RCA, where his contributions were highly valued. Demonstrating his vision and drive, he later co-founded CTS Business Group with his esteemed colleague, Ron, building a successful enterprise. Barry eventually retired due to health complications, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and integrity.

He found his truest joy and purpose in his family. Barry shared a remarkable 51 years of devoted marriage with his beloved wife, Debra D. (Howard) Davis, a partnership built on unwavering love and mutual respect. His legacy shines brightly through his cherished daughters, Nashea (Demon Ramey) Davis and Natiya (John) McFadden IV. Barry was a proud and doting grandfather to ten grandchildren: Dylan, Ciara, Demoni’, Shakir, Niya, Favor, Taleyah, Joshua, Jeremiah, and Jadah, and a loving great-grandfather to six precious great-grandchildren: Jordynn, Madisynn, Aaliyah, Darnell Jr., Josiah, and Ny’lani. He is also survived by his four devoted sisters, Gloria (the late J.D.) Killebrew, Lois (the late James) Neal, Toyia Davis, and Lori Davis, along with a wide circle of beloved relatives and dear friends who will miss his quiet strength and gentle wisdom.

Barry was preceded in death by his parents, Caesar and Pauline (Yates) Davis; his son, Barry Davis Jr.; his sisters, Phyllis Young and Gloria Evans; and his nephew, Jeff Yates.

Barry's memory will forever be a guiding light, a testament to a life well-lived, marked by dedication to family, country, and community. He leaves an indelible mark on the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A graveside service to celebrate Barry's extraordinary life and enduring legacy will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. in Ferncliff Cemetery, Soldiers Mound. Arrangements are thoughtfully provided by the Robert C. Henry Funeral Home. The family will draw comfort from the words of II Timothy 4:7-8, with spiritual guidance offered by Pastor Ernest C. Brown, Sr.,
